Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most. Can't find yours? Call 480-300-GOMD (4663).

What are your office hours?
We're open 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM to noon on Saturdays. Early weekday hours mean you can be seen before work.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans - check our insurance grid for your carrier, or call 480-300-4663 and we'll verify your benefits free before your visit. Copays are due at check-in and we bill your insurance as a courtesy.
What if I don't have insurance?
Our cash-discount program offers transparent self-pay pricing. Call before your visit and we'll quote the cost of your visit, labs, or procedure up front - no surprises.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring your photo ID, insurance card, current medication list, and arrive 15 minutes early (30 minutes if you haven't completed your intake forms online). Completing forms online first is faster for everyone.
What happens if I need care after hours?
An on-call provider is available for established patients after hours. For anything life-threatening, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
How do telemedicine visits work?
Book a video visit like any appointment. We send you a secure link - no app needed. See how it works. Telemedicine is usually covered by insurance.
How do I get my lab results?
Results are released to your patient portal as soon as they're reviewed, usually within 2-3 business days. Your provider will message you through the portal with anything that needs discussion.
Do you see children?
Yes - we see children ages 7 and up as part of complete family medicine.
What is an FAA physical, and can you do mine?
Yes. Dr. Fereidouni is an FAA-designated Aviation Medical Examiner offering Class 1, 2, and 3 exams. Complete your MedXPress application at medxpress.faa.gov first, then book your exam.
