Dr. Fereidouni leads Aveon Health as Medical Director, focusing his passion for clinical medicine, technology, and business administration on improving patient care through awareness and effective treatment. In practice since 2004 - 22 years of clinical experience - his special clinical focus is the care of diabetic patients, and he has served as a clinical investigator in diabetes research trials.
Education & Training
Undergraduate studies at the University of California San Diego; medical training in the UK and Chicago; residency at the University of Maryland / Johns Hopkins site in Baltimore; Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) from St. Joseph's College of Maine.
Leadership & Affiliations
Past President of the American Diabetes Association community leadership board for Arizona (2013/2014); active member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE); FAA-designated Senior Aviation Medical Examiner. Dr. Fereidouni also conducts educational programs training fellow physicians in diabetes care management.

Dr. Fereidouni is a pilot and FAA Senior Aviation Medical Examiner, in practice since 2004 - pilots see an examiner who genuinely understands aviation - with additional background in medical informatics and educational multimedia. Away from the clinic he's a private pilot, tennis player, swimmer, and advanced scuba diver.
